ABOUT ME

Thank you for viewing my site and possibly considering me to capture your big day, a moment in time, a nice present for someone special, or just wanting to get in front of a camera to feel beautiful.

I am a professional photographer in the Northeast Ohio area, but I travel to Michigan once a month (and love traveling). And by loving to travel, I would love to travel the world and capture it’s beauty, and you and your loved ones if interested. I even have a tattoo that says “Fetch a camera, film the world” (it’s a Panic! At The Disco lyric, for those wondering), but it fit me so well. So now that you know I have an adventurous side, I’m also a homebody in aspects. In my free time I am a grandma at heart, crocheting scarves and cuddling with my cat, Cleo. I have two dogs, Belle, who I got when I was 13 years old, and Oliver, who was once my grandma’s dog but I’m his “little mommy” as she liked to put, before she passed.

I specialize in Boudoir, Engagement, and Wedding Photography. I also do Family, Senior, Maternity, Lifestyle (couple, newborn, family, etc.), Food/Product, Sports action and Editorial/Styled sessions. I started out in the photography industry by covering concerts and festivals for online music websites about ten years ago. I still cover festivals and concerts to this day, it’s something I’ll always have a passion for. I also enjoy adventuring out into nature, whether it’s in my backyard or 2,000 miles from home. Every year I try to take a road trip to enjoy the environment around me and experience new surroundings. I can’t forget about my astrophotography! I love the Milky Way, the stars, constellations, and everything that goes along with it. I will adventure out to a dark area to capture the galaxies around us.

What makes me stand out from the rest: I want to see genuine smiles and laughter on your face. When you book a session with me, I want you to be your true self, because that needs to reflect in your images. I might direct you into a pose, but I want you to move around and be natural. I try to crack jokes during the session, the key word is “try”, because sometimes my jokes are corny. There will be times for seriousness, but I want to capture true emotions. Since I was first trained in shooting concerts, where you had to adapt to the lighting you had, I am a natural light photographer. If extra lighting is needed, I will supplement, but I believe natural light shows the true beauty.

**If you are a band or artist looking for promo shots or looking for some live action shots, feel free to message for availability and we can see if we can work something out! I love covering local and national shows, especially of the crowd having fun!

***If you are an athlete and would like action shots while playing your sport of choice, I have previous experience capturing the moment. I worked as a photographer for the college paper for two years and for the University Photographer as an Assistant at Ferris State University. I covered a lot of sporting events during my college years.
